KUALA LUMPUR, 23 October 2026 — Polyparts Sdn. Bhd. achieved a proud milestone by winning the ESG Excellence Award Category 1 at the Industry Excellence Award (Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri, AKI) 2026, earning recognition in the field of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Held at Menara MITI in Kuala Lumpur, the ceremony was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Also present were Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and Deputy Minister Sim Tze Tzin.
Organised by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), AKI recognises companies for excellence in management practices, product and service quality, and value creation for stakeholders. Participating companies are assessed using the Malaysia Business Excellence Framework (MBEF), which provides a comprehensive benchmark for organisational performance.
Under the ESG Excellence Award, Polyparts secured Category 1, while Kawan Food Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. won Category 2. Syarikat Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS) received the Special Award.
